OceanFest and Girls Who Surf

50 surfers and
bodyboarders competed at Kewalo Bowls in the Annual Girls Who Surf Amateur
Wahine Contest for a surfboard, airline tickets, ukulele, bathing suits,
apparel, equipment, and more. Each prize winner walked away with a
tuberose and rose lei.
Girls Who Surf provides
the best surf lesson experience on Oahu and now stocks girls surf dvdˇ¦s,
New Surf Project Surfboards, Elemenohpee bodyboards, Xcel rashguards,
music, tshirts, and more.
Judges Pinoi Makalena,
Joedee Clark, Meagan Gordinez, and Malia Saxman and other volunteers
helped to make the event a tremendous success.
